About Us

Collective Space was founded in 2017 with the aspiration to grow and advance social work underpinned by systemic methodologies. We do this through our delivery of high quality, evidence based training which responds to the demands of modern social work and through our ethical, purposeful and innovative practice within our independent social work and clinical work.

Systemic social work is a way of responding to family problems by recognising that we are all part of complex systems. Working systemically, means that we try to understand patterns of behaviour and relationships within families, the ways people think, as well as the contexts and environments in which they live to help us make sense of the problems that are presented to us.
